Mitch recently headed along and took part in The Hutchins School’s “Freezin’ for a reason” event.
Senior School students were invited by Thorold and Stephens House to participate in a combined event, all of which was intended to reduce the stigma around mental illness, support those who are affected by suicide, bring awareness to suicide prevention, and promote positive mental health conversations and strategies.
Hundreds of students and family members and friends gathered and walked ‘out of the shadows’ together from the school campus to Alexandra Battery to watch the sunrise together. All whilst “Freezin’ for a reason” and engaging in some deeper conversations with each other.
Mitch joined the walk, said a few words of encouragement, and thanked those involved for raising funds for us as part of the event.
We love our ongoing collaboration with The Hutchins School, and always value the support they show for us ✨
