The Construction Industry Program focuses on no-nonsense education to help people speak up, look out for one another, and seek support early. Using evidence garnered from tradies across Tasmania, the team provides practical, straight-talking mental health conversations that fit real worksites, and real pressures.
We deliver a variety of sessions to suit the entire scope of the construction industry: from builders and contractors, subbies and crews, to site leaders, supervisors, and managers. Our traditional one-hour presentation and our shorter toolbox sessions meet people where they are, spark conversations, and fit easily into the workday.
The Construction Industry presentations cover:
• Mental health 101: how to stay mentally well
• The importance of connections
• The impact of alcohol, drugs, and gambling and how to build healthier strategies
• How to check in on others
Program development sponsored by the Fairbrother Foundation and Master Builders Tasmania. If you are a member of Master Builders Tasmania, you might be eligible for funded sessions – just talk to the team!
