At Stay ChatTY, we know that conversations can save lives — but only when people feel equipped and confident to have them. That’s why we’re expanding our training options to support both individuals and organisations to better understand, respond to, and proactively support mental health in their communities and workplaces.
We’re excited to announce two new Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training options now available through Stay ChatTY:
🔄 Mental Health First Aid Refresher Training
For current MHFAiders ready to renew their skills and accreditation
1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental health problem this year. That means most of us will know someone who needs support: whether it’s a colleague, a family member, or a friend. If you’ve previously completed a full Mental Health First Aid course, this refresher is your chance to stay confident, updated and accredited.
In this 4-hour course, past MHFA graduates will:
✔️ Update knowledge based on the latest mental health research
✔️ Build confidence through real-life scenarios and discussions
✔️ Renew accreditation for another three years
📍 Upcoming dates
🗓️ Launceston – 11 December 2025
🗓️ Hobart – 20 February 2026

👥 Mental Health First Aid: Engaging Leaders
For managers, executives, team leaders and decision-makers
A mentally healthy workplace is shaped by culture, leadership, and understanding. The MHFA: Engaging Leaders session has been designed specifically for people in leadership roles who want to create supportive, stigma-free workplaces where mental health is understood, prioritised and where challenges are responded to early.
In this 90-minute face-to-face session, leaders will learn:
✔️ How to recognise signs an employee may be experiencing mental health challenges
✔️ Practical approaches for supporting staff with mental ill-health
✔️ The impact a workplace can have on mental wellbeing
✔️ How Mental Health First Aid Officers and training can support a culture of care
This is the perfect starting point for organisations who want to better support their people, before crisis or burnout steps in.
