The inaugural Tour de Tig was held in 2014 and raised just over $25,000. In 2017, we are pleased to present Tour de Tig 2 (TDT2)which will see our founder Mitch, along with six of his good mates, run from Burnie to Hobart from the 21 – 25 March.
The aim of this event is to not only take on the huge physical challenge of running 360km on foot, but to create conversation around the state about the mental health issues that so many of us face. Stay ChatTY’s message is to break down the stigma that surrounds mental health issues by telling as many people along the way that it is OK TO NOT BE OK.
Good physical health can reduce stress and help you manage symptoms of mental health conditions like depression and anxiety. #TeamChatTY decided to give YOU the opportunity to be part of TDT2. #GetMovingInMarch encourages individuals to identify their own fitness goal to work towards whilst raising money for Stay ChatTY.
