In September, the Premier of Tasmania Will Hodgman (alongside some of his Parliamentary Colleagues) joined us at Mackillop College in Hobart, for the official launch our new schools program “#TeamChatTY.”
The Premier gave a short address at the event, backing the program with his full support. He was full of praise to the team at both Stay ChatTY and Relationships Australia Tas for our positive work around Suicide prevention.
Thank you to Donna Brown, Janine Toms and all the student leaders at Mackillop for putting today’s launch together.
The #TeamChatTY Schools program has been designed to enhance young people’s awareness, and build their knowledge and skills to achieve and maintain positive mental health.
This FREE 2 hour session, with an hour follow up session a week later, is designed for young people aged 14-25 (grades 9,10,11 and 12), and will be facilitated by myself, and also a qualified counsellor/social worker from Relationships Australia Tasmania.
If you would like to learn more about this exciting new program, then email us – firstname.lastname@example.org for more information, or to make a pre-program meeting.
