The Stay ChatTY team all glammed up for the recent Stay ChatTY Gala Ball – Celebrating a ‘Decade of Impact’!
On Saturday 16 September, the Tasmanian community came together in a night of celebration of 10 years of Stay ChatTY, and a decade of impact that continues in the community at our much-awaited SOLD OUT 2023 Gala Ball.
The night was full of energy in the air, with guests enjoying all the festivities of the evening on offer and sharing conversations and creating connections. There was plenty of dancing, great performances from the talented musicians for the evening by Gus Leighton, and Everburn, guests thoroughly enjoyed having a spin on the 360-video machine, and of course getting some fun snaps at the photo booth. We were very fortunate to have our evening lead by our incredible MCs, Brent Costelloe, and Georgia Love. A highlight of the evening was certainly when our Stay ChatTY Founder, Mitch McPherson, reflected on the journey over the 10 years of SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY where he captivated and moved everyone in the room with his incredible passion, storytelling, and his resilience.
We are truly grateful for the overwhelming response of support from the community, and from businesses and organisations all over the state, which has been nothing short of incredible and is a testament to the trust the Tasmanian community has in Stay ChatTY and the work we do in schools, sporting clubs, and organisations all over the state by showing up, sharing stories, and stopping stigma. Without this ongoing support, these events simply couldn’t happen!
Funds raised will allow us to continue delivering face to face presentations across the state and keep working on our “wish list” and bring new initiatives into the community.
We look forward to another exciting Gala Ball in 2024!
