Having started at Devonport’s Mersey Bluff on November 2nd, Dillon is approaching the halfway mark of his 1,326km run around Tasmania, and passed through some of Tasmania’s most iconic landscapes while pushing through physical and mental challenges.
As Dillon pushes forward, he’s encountered the full range of Tasmania’s landscapes—from coastal roads to dense forests, from the rugged West Coast to the busy streets of Hobart very soon. The Tasmanian community has showed up every step of the way, with an incredible amount of support from local businesses providing services and goods to help him through the run, and people who have been cheering him on and even running alongside him for some distances.
All of this culminated to Dillon’s fundraising target of $11,000 being reached in the very first day of the run, with Dillon now working towards $22,000!
