Further to the three vocational education & training sessions Kylea and Callan completed earlier in the year, they recently rounded out the term with not one, not two… but TEN sessions at Don College!
A mammoth week that was incredibly rewarding due to the engagement, conversation, and sharing of both staff and students.
We know it isn’t always easy to discuss mental health topics among groups of 30+ of your peers, but the students really showed a dedication to the aim of supporting others, seeking support when they need it, speaking about their own thoughts on the topic and stopping stigma.
Thank you to the students of Don College for a great experience, and to all the support staff that participated in multiple sessions – including those that returned voluntarily – for the kind feedback!
