Every year the First National Kingston Blues Netball Club and Karana Netball Club compete for the Stay ChatTY Shield. Leading up to this Netball round, both clubs have recognised that conversations and checking in becomes more normalised.  We loved seeing the blue and red ribbons worn by teams across the round, and the ongoing support these teams bring to the work we do at Stay ChatTY every year.

One of the things we love most about awareness rounds, is that not only does it create exposure for mental health in the wider community, but it also creates a safe space inside the clubs themselves and has continued to engage these and other clubs within Netball Tasmania with our sports presentations throughout various age teams, to keep positive mental health conversations going.

Thank everyone in the netball community – particularly Netball Tasmania, for embracing our messaging around positive mental health and making their clubs an inclusive and safe environment.
