Congratulations on the winner of the 2019 LIFE Awards

The Tasmanian Suicide Prevention Community Network (TSPCN) held their annual LIFE Awards before their forum the next day in Hobart. Stay ChatTY for the third year running proudly sponsored the Outstanding Contribution to Suicide Prevention by a Young Person award.

We were pleased to announce that the winner was The Hutchins School.

The Hutchins School conducted many mental health initiatives in recent times. However, the highlight was training 80 students in Youth Mental Health First Aid. This student lead initiative fills an important need for young people to feel adequately prepared to support their friends dealing with mental health issues.

Congratulations Hutchins and keep up the amazing work.
