12 months into a three-year partnership offers a celebratory milestone as well as an opportunity to stop and reflect on what has been accomplished so far.
The Stay ChatTY team always knew the partnership would be a great fit as Clennett’s Mitre 10 are super passionate about the health and wellbeing of their team, customers and the greater community.
In the past 12 months, Mitch and the team have shared in multiple presentations with the Clennett’s team and customers. These sessions not only offered education around mental health and practical tools for those who attended but also the opportunity to spark conversations and strengthen team understanding of how the involvement with Stay ChatTY can benefit them and their loved ones.
Customers are also offered multiple opportunities to keep Stay ChatTY front of mind with stickers and wristbands available for purchase in all Clennett’s stores as well as co-branded water bottles and tape measures. We love that each of these items provides that visual reminder that we are all doing life together and the importance to check in on those around us.
The trade industry has been recognised for higher rates of mental health concerns and suicide rates. Making a difference in this space has been and continues to be something very important to both Clennett’s Mitre 10 and the Stay ChatTY team.
Working closely with a few members of the team has been a real highlight for us. Jamie and Nicole are part of the backbone of Clennett’s and are always up for a brainstorm on how we can continue to add value to the partnership and do more to support each other in our common goals.
There are many achievements and special moments to reflect on, and although some of them have been huge, the most important ones are often those seemingly insignificant moments that demonstrate the day to day impact the partnership is having. Those special achievements lie in the conversations that are sparked in the lunchroom or team meeting where mental health is openly chatted about and valued. In the support offered to team members working through a hard time and the massive smiles and genuine conversations that take place between the Clennett’s team and their customers.
As we move into the second year of the partnership we will continue to expand on what’s working and also challenge ourselves to ask what more we can be doing to provide further positive impact for both the Clennett’s team and their customers.
As the partnership strengthens and the ideas continue to flow on how we can continue to work collectively to spark conversations and break down the stigma.
