Stay ChatTY & Banjos join forces for the 9th consecutive year

This May, Banjo’s Bakery Café will take action in support of Stay ChatTY’s mission to stop stigma and spark conversations.

From May 1 – May 31, across Banjo’s Tasmanian stores, the community will be encouraged to donate 45 cents with any purchase to SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) almost half (45%) of Australians will experience a mental illness in their lifetime. Making the 45c donation significant by highlighting the prominence of mental health challenges throughout Australia.

Banjo’s Bakery Café CEO and Managing Director Jessica Saxby is excited about the ongoing collaboration with SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY.  “We’re excited to support SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY for the ninth consecutive year. This year, we are expanding our support, allowing customers to add a donation on all orders, not just from their coffee orders as in previous years,” Ms Saxby said. “With the slogan of ‘It makes CENTS to Stay ChatTY’, we are thrilled to help support Stay ChatTY’s mission of encouraging conversations that have the potential to positively change lives.

We love our ongoing relationship with Banjos and are super grateful that they have been there since the beginning, continuing to help us sustain and expand our community programs and initiatives.

This May, whether it’s a coffee on the run, lunch with a friend or a sneaky sweet treat with a workmate we are excited to see so many Tasmanians come together to create positive change.
